Today, I received an E-Mail from wireless broadbands users, asking me “why the speeds so slow as low as 11bts/second in their area”.

Why your wireless broadband speeds turn slow?

  • The more people connect to the internet at the same time, the slower speeds at your computer. This due to every one of the wireless broadband users share the same IP.
  • Your location distance from the transmission tower, the nearest the best signal your computer can receive.
  • Your computer is another fact, why its turn slows. Please upgrade the processor or do regular maintenance for your pc or laptop.

We know that Celcom with the problem 120% over subscriber, but for the company’s revenue and loyal customer, they might do something. Maxis are not really aggressive to promote their wireless broadband.      Due to coverage, Digi are not available for high speed in our area.

With wireless broadband, we can browse internet anywhere within coverage, the only speeds makes a deference between gprs, edge, 3g, 3g HSDPA, that’s the no 1 factor why go wireless broadband.

The speeds are only up to the maximum speed that you subscribe the package. The telco’s provider is not guarantying the speeds at the maximum level at any time.
